Meet Dr. Lisel & Dr. Jordan
Hi! My name is Dr. Lisel Lewis. Chiropractic changed my life, and I want to help you improve yours, too! I am the proud owner of Solana Beach Wellness Collective.
I started playing tennis at age 4 and competed in USTA Southern California sectional and national tournaments throughout my junior years. I received a full scholarship to a Division 1 university, where I played as the number 1 player for all 4 years of college. I thought that injury was inevitable and that I would just have to deal with pain for the rest of my life. Thankfully, chiropractic care has given me hope for a pain-free body.
Although, pain relief is not what changed my life. A chiropractor taught me that anxiety and depression are linked to an overstimulated central nervous system, which can put your body into a fight or flight position. My sympathetic nervous system was overworked, and prescription medications were not the route I wanted to take for my health. Thankfully, consistent chiropractic care has given me long-term relief and improved my mental health for the rest of my life.
Dr. Jordan Brand
Dr. J is a former college basketball player from Colorado Mesa University with a degree in Kinesiology focused on Fitness and Health Promotion, whose own injuries shaped her path into healthcare. After tearing her ACL playing college basketball and later suffering a severe low back injury during CrossFit, she experienced firsthand the limits of traditional rehab and the transformative impact of chiropractic care, which ultimately revealed her calling to help others heal. Inspired by her recovery, she attended Life Chiropractic College West, earning clinical honors for exceptional patient care, and has since spent four years working in a specialty sports rehab practice before relocating to California. Dr. Jordan had her own thriving private practice in Lake Elsinore, CA before moving to San Diego & joining Dr. Lisel at Solana Beach Wellness Collective. Outside the clinic, Dr. J enjoys basketball, snowboarding, camping, reading, lifting weights, and dad jokes.
